Nina Bio

Nina was born in St. Petersburg Russia and immigrated to the US in 1975. She graduated from Technological College in St. Petersburg specializing in the technology of textile. She further studied at the prestigious Academy of Arts in St. Petersburg.   She continued her education at the Art Institute of Chicago majoring in Fashion Design.

She successfully launched a business in Chicago where she utilized her design and fashion background to produce and sell one-of-a-kind wearable art and jewelry. She moved to San Miguel de Alliende Mexico where she spent six years running a very successful boutique specializing in traveling clothes, design costumes for Anjela Peralta Theater in San Miguel and Chicago Shakespeare Theater. She launched an internationally recognized accessories company and sold her collections in New York and Paris fashion shows gaining worldwide publicity and featured in major fashion magazines including W, Elle, WWD, C+ accessories (Paris), and Selvedge (London). Her customers included several celebrities including Nicole Kidman, Bette Midler, and Jennifer Jason Leigh.

She is one of the founding members of ELN Group and was instrumental in the development of the products.  She spent two years developing several iterations of prototypes and producing hundreds of illustrations which resulted in three patents and ultimately the finished product!
